We facilitate in-school professional development workshops around a variety of topics related to neurodiversity and inclusion filtered through an educational lens (e.g., understanding the learning differences of neurodivergent students, interpreting behavior as communication, evidence-based strategies for behavior management, implementation strategies for IEP/504 plans in the classroom, and incorporating executive skills opportunities in the day-to-day curriculum). Our team works with the school to customize educational sessions that are consistent with school’s culture and philosophy.
We host meetings for the school parent and caregiver community that bring awareness and education around neurodiversity and its many facets. We do so using our perspective as both educators and parents, bridging both domains. All sessions are facilitated around topics of interest to each parent group.
We work with students directly to build their capacity: tailoring sessions that strengthen coping skillsets and emotional regulation. We bring evidence-based practices into executive skills trainings for youth that reinforce organization, task completion, future-orientated learning, and problem solving across their developmental pathways.
We work with school teams in conjunction with their caregiver partners to share a common language that seeks to maximize student learning, life skills and forward-focused goals.
We post a bimonthly newsletter that brings current topics, tips, and information about what is happening in the neurodivergent community.
